Is Vertex really free?
Yes. Every feature is free to use with no account, no sign-up and no usage limits.
Is my data safe?
Your files never leave your computer. All parsing and editing happens locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.
How large a file can I edit?
Because processing happens in your browser, the practical limit depends on your device's memory. Most files up to tens of thousands of rows work smoothly; very large files can be split first.
Which file formats are supported?
You can import and export CSV, and convert between CSV and JSON. Common delimiters (comma, semicolon, tab) are detected automatically.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Vertex runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. There is nothing to download or install.
Can I use Vertex on my phone?
Absolutely. The editor is fully responsive and works on phones and tablets as well as desktops.
